InkSafe is a privacy-first notebook app for journaling and digital drawing. All your notes, sketches, and data stay on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud services for this app.
We do not collect any personal data. InkSafe does not transmit your data to external servers. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. The app is ad-supported and the AdMob SDK performs ad tracking (see Third-Party Services).
In-app purchases. Any purchase inside the app (such as the upgrade that removes ads) is handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and keeps the record; the app only learns whether the purchase is active. We never see your payment details.

The free version makes network requests to Google AdMob to serve ads. No other data leaves your device. The Pro version makes no advertising requests; apart from Google Play Billing, which handles and restores your purchase, it functions entirely offline.
The free version may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy. The Pro version has no ads or third-party services.
Your notes are stored in your device's local storage, protected by your device's built-in security. Uninstalling the app will delete all stored data. Kids Mode locks are stored locally (v0.1 uses plaintext storage; future versions will use encryption).
InkSafe includes a Kids Mode feature for parents to lock certain folders. This feature is intended for parental control and does not collect any data about children. InkSafe is not directed at children under 13 for independent use.
